Based in Cross Gates, Leeds, Alpine Ski Servicing is a bespoke ski service run by Tony Hopkins.
Our fully equipped workshop is where I specialise in hand tuning ski's to the customers' needs. Prior to any work being undertaken I will carry out a detailed inspection which includes bindings and mountings.

In contrast
Standard tuning is commonly carried out by machines, this removes a set amount from the ski and can result in excessive and unnecessary material being removed. Machine tuning sets a specific angle to the ski's and often includes a base grind to remove any base damage. This also removes impregnated wax which can reduce performance. Base grinds can reduce performance by detuning tips and tails
